    In this engaging session, attendees will gain firsthand insights into Cambrex’s sustainability journey, from inception to current initiatives. From programs for reducing emissions, advanced wastewater treatment methods and facilities, safe waste handling and management, periodically audited waste disposal facilities, and a commitment to emission reduction, Cambrex will share the diverse initiatives that have propelled them towards their sustainability goals.

    Cambrex’s 400+ team members in Charles City have strong expertise in custom development and cGMP commercial manufacturing. Located on a 45-acre campus, they manufacture a wide range of APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates, including highly potent molecules and controlled substances. The facility is home to multiple commercial cGMP plants for large-scale production, while also offering resources for small- and mid-scale development and manufacturing. This Cambrex facility is one of a limited number to be authorized by the Drug Enforcement Administration to import narcotic raw materials on a commercial scale.​
