3:30pm - 4:15pm: Process Intensification & Modularization – Expectations; how to proceed
Panelists from the RAPID Institute and a member company will discuss process intensification as a paradigm shift to the chemical manufacturing industry, how to identify opportunities within your own business, including case study examples. Process intensification offers substantial operational benefits ranging from lower capital cost, improved energy efficiency, reduced waste production, faster project implementation, increased flexibility of assets and greater reliability of the overall manufacturing system.
4:15pm - 5:30pm: Roundtable on Process Intensification
The program will continue with a peer-to-peer group discussion on issues and perspectives surrounding process intensification and modularization affecting your business. To kick off the roundtable segment, you'll be asked to give a brief description of your company and one top-of-mind operational issue. From there, attendees will engage in a group discussion on how they perceive process intensification as a part of their business.
