- Our team met today, and we have begun outreach regarding future options for your registration and sponsorships.
- A big part of our trip to Charleston was to meet personally with members and colleagues in the industry.

Unfortunately, the SOCMA Golf Tournament is cancelled. Just a few minutes ago, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster ordered a mandatory evacuation for Charleston, SC effective Monday, September 2 at 12:00 pm ET. We regret not being able to see you in Charleston this week and will be in touch directly in the coming days regarding refund options. In the meantime, please stay safe and let us know if we can be of assistance to you or your business.

The SOCMA team has been in communication with the Dunes West and Chemicals America teams. Based on the projected path and feedback of attendees, the SOCMA Golf Tournament and networking reception will continue as scheduled on Tuesday, September 3 unless conditions significantly deteriorate or an evacuation is ordered for the city of Charleston.
We are all continuing to monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian along the Southeast Coast and will immediately communicate any changes. Please contact Sandra Lehrer at meetings@socma.org should you have any questions or concerns.

We have been in touch with the golf club this morning are continuing to closely monitor the weather and path of the hurricane as it moves north. The SOCMA Golf Tournament is still on for Tuesday, September 3, at Dunes West Golf & River Club in Mount Pleasant, SC. Our team is monitoring the weather closely as Hurricane Dorian moves closer to landfall. We will update you if there are any changes.
