    Who receives my project information?

    Lead Sheets will be circulated to the official commercial or executive on record for SOCMA member companies.


    How is project confidentiality maintained throughout the process?

    All project requests will remain confidential while working with SOCMA


    Who can participate?

    Members and non-members have the ability to submit project requests through our lead sheet service. Only SOCMA members will be able to access our online portfolio of active projects and receive notification of new lead sheets through our email distribution.


    Is there a fee?

    SOCMA does not currently charge a fee to utilize this service.


    What are the process steps for the lead sheet service?

    1)      Requesting company submits a lead sheet request to Joe Dettinger: jdettinger@socma.org

    2)      SOCMA staff schedules meeting with requesting company

    3)      SOCMA and requesting company discuss non-NDA project details and create/edit lead sheet

    4)      Requesting company approves final version of lead sheet

    5)      SOCMA distributes lead sheet via email to membership and posts lead sheet on online project portfolio

    6)     SOCMA members express interest in lead sheets to SOCMA staff

    7)     SOCMA staff compiles list of interested contacts and distributes to requesting company

    8)     Requesting company decides which contacts to utilize to move forward with the project


    What is the timeframe for the lead sheet process?

    The timeframe is dependent on various factors including:

    • Calendar availability for the non-NDA project discussion
    • Approval timeline from requesting company on finalized version of the lead sheet
    • Member response time upon distribution of new lead sheet
