Recognition

This year’s award recipients will be recognized virtually at the 2021 Annual Business Meeting and in-person at the Specialty & Custom Chemicals Show in Fort Worth, TX on February 28-March 2, 2022.

About the Awards

The Performance Improvement Awards Program is a recognition program focusing on the five Core Principles in SOCMA’s Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Program-ChemStewards:

  1. Stakeholder Communications
  2. Product Stewardship
  3. EHS&S in Planning and Operations
  4. Employee Training and Engagement
  5. Resource and Waste Minimization

Awards are submitted for a specific period of time. For the 2021 awards, applications are evaluated for 2020 Performance Improvement.

Award Categories

Award Applications are based on these Five Core Principles and specifically take into account best practices and principles that demonstrate continuous improvement beyond basic requirements of ChemStewards and government-mandated programs.
