Thirty-four teams of Specialty Chemical Industry professionals took to the 18-hole course on June 27 at Dunes West Golf & River Club for some friendly competition and industry networking.
This year’s sold-out tournament raised $2,500 for the ACS Scholars Program, which awards renewable scholarships to undergraduate students from historically underrepresented groups in the chemical sciences. In addition to supporting future careerists and a bit of fun on the course, golfers found “the support and opportunity to network and meet people before and after the tournament was excellent.”
Congratulations to this year’s champions – we look forward to hosting next year’s tournament in Savannah!
