ARLINGTON, VA – The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) is pleased to announce that more than 40 SOCMA member facilities will receive 2018 Performance Improvement Awards for their commitment to continuously improving environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) practices at the association’s 97th Annual Dinner, December 10, in New York.
On June 13 SOCMA hosted its inaugural Specialties Forum at the Science History Institute in Philadelphia, PA, that brought together executive-level decision makers at this invitation-only half-day event.
The value of SOCMA’s 2018 EHS Regional Roundtables can be summarized in just a few words. This year’s attendees particularly enjoyed the key theme, “safety culture,” as well as the opportunity to “discuss” key issues with their peers during “breakout sessions.”
Up-to-date scorecards and performance summaries will be provided to presidents of each ChemStewards® participating company in June.
ARLINGTON, VA – The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) is pleased to announce it will host three EHS Regional Roundtables this spring, focusing on the importance of establishing a positive safety culture in specialty and fine chemical facilities.
Getting the most out of your ChemStewards audit is a top priority, so we are working to ensure that open communication among all parties (auditors, coordinators, upper management and SOCMA staff) is well defined.
Registration is now open for the 2018 Compliance & Stewardship Regional Roundtables!
