As we reach the midpoint of 2026, I’m pleased to share SOCMA’s first-ever Mid-Year Executive Impact Report.

One of our goals is to give you greater visibility into the value your investment in SOCMA creates. This report provides a clearer picture of how that investment is being put to work on your behalf, highlights the incredible work our SOCMA team is doing every day in support of the specialty chemical industry, and provides a look ahead at the priorities that will guide our work through the remainder of the year.

Inside the report, you’ll find:

  • Key advocacy initiatives and policy engagement on behalf of members
  • Progress across business intelligence, workforce development, and safety programs
  • Priorities that will shape SOCMA’s work through the remainder of 2026

This report is intended to be the beginning of an ongoing conversation. We want you to have a clear understanding of how we’re investing our time and effort on your behalf, but just as importantly, we want to hear from you. If you have ideas, feedback, or opportunities where SOCMA can provide even greater value, I encourage you to reach out. Your input helps shape our priorities and strengthens the work we do.
 
This is the first in what will become a regular part of our communications. Going forward, you can expect a mid-year update each summer and a more comprehensive annual report each January as we continue to share our progress and what’s ahead.
