SOCMA Recognizes 2025 Safety and Leadership Recipients for Advancing Excellence Across the Specialty Chemical Industry

ARLINGTON, VA — The Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates (SOCMA) proudly announced the recipients of its 2025 Safety Recognition Program during the association’s annual Safety Recognition Program & Dinner at the SOCMA Summit in San Antonio, Texas. This year’s honorees represent 31 member companies across 56 facilities that exemplify outstanding safety performance, innovation, and leadership in the specialty chemical industry.

2025 Individual Award Recipients

Trailblazer Award: Tiffany Hiers, Oakwood Products, Inc.
Recognized for her exceptional leadership, passion, and professional growth, Tiffany Hiers has advanced from a pre-packer to Environmental, Safety and Regulatory Manager at Oakwood Products. Her work has strengthened safety practices company-wide and inspired new industry leaders through her active engagement with SOCMA’s Health & Safety and Chemical Regulations Committees.

Advocacy Excellence Award: Adam Pingel, Monument Chemical, SOCMA Board Member & Advocacy Committee Chair
As Chair of SOCMA’s Advocacy Committee, Adam Pingel has been instrumental in expanding and strengthening the association’s advocacy efforts. His leadership helped establish SOCMA’s inaugural in-person Advocacy Day, fostering direct engagement between specialty chemical manufacturers and policymakers in Washington, D.C.

Partner of the Year: International Process Plants (IPP)
International Process Plants (IPP) was recognized for its outstanding partnership and long-standing support of SOCMA’s mission.
