Newburyport, MA – Solvay signed a global distribution agreement with Strem Chemicals, Inc., a manufacturer of high-purity specialty products, to fulfill commercial sampling and research requests for its specialty phosphorus products.

The agreement covers a range of Solvay products from the ALBRITE®, AMGARD®, CYPHOS®, CYPHOS® IL, CYTOP® and RHODAPHOS® product lines, which are developed and manufactured by the Technology Solutions global business unit. These products find utility in applications as catalysts and catalyst ligands, extraction reagents, electronic materials, genomics reagents and in various materials/formulations. Solvay’s products offer the unique benefits and behaviors of phosphorus-based technologies, including high thermal stability, tunable solubility, electronic and steric properties, strong reducing capabilities, chirality and more.

The partnership brings Solvay’s leading-edge phosphorus portfolio to Strem’s customers, while Solvay and its customers benefit from Strem’s good standing in the scientific community, top-notch sampling and packaging, broad product range and superior customer service.
