SOCMA Delivers On-Demand Training for Chemical Operators

Since launching in January, 15 companies across 42 facilities have adopted SOCMA’s Chemical Operations Training Tool to train and refresh employees on standard operations and processes in chemical manufacturing. SOCMA is excited to expand this modernized training tool to non-member manufacturers.

MFG Chemical Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification on Pasadena, Texas Plant

MFG Chemical, a global leader in specialty and custom chemical manufacturing, has successfully achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification on its 26.7 acre plant in Pasadena, Texas. This is one of four (4) MFG Chemical plants, with three others in Dalton, Georgia and each having already received their ISO 9001: 2015 certifications.

Three More Companies Trust in SOCMA for Solutions and Growth

Three new companies were approved to join the growing membership of the Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates (SOCMA) by its Board of Governors last week. OSHA Revises Guidances on COVID-19 Recordkeeping & Enforcement

OSHA has issued two revised guidance memos on recordkeeping and enforcement in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On May 26, 2020, the previous memos from April on these topics will be rescinded, and the new memos will go into and remain in effect until further notice.
